iPhone – Timer for Music
Overview:
Many people like to drift off to sleep listening to soft music. The biggest problem in actually being able to listen to music as you go to sleep is who is going to turn the music off once you are asleep? Playing the music all night is not good or healthy. The iPhone has a countdown timer function that will turn the music off when you schedule it to be turned off. Instructions of how to use this function are below.
How to use iPhone’s Timer for Music
• Start playing the music you wish to hear and return to the Home Screen or App Library. • Tap the Clock app button (looks like a clock face). • At the bottom of the Clock app screen tap Timer to display the Timer page. • Use the selection wheels to enter how many hours/minutes you want the music to play. • Tap the When Timer Ends button at the bottom to open the When Timer Ends selection page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Stop Playing (a checkmark will appear next to the selection you have chosen). Tap Set in the upper right corner to save your setting and return to the Timer screen. • Press the Start button for the countdown timer and go to sleep. • If you use the timer and need it to sound when it ends you will need to change the When Timer Ends selection to one of the alarm sounds.
