I am trying to use a wireless local external IDrive One device for local backup, in addition to the online site. I have consistently received error messages that say it could not complete the backup because the wireless device is not connected to my local network. I have used their support on 3-4 occasions, and it has been reconnected, only to get the same message the next morning. Last night, I manually went in, found it not connected, and reconnected it with the exact same result this morning. I can certainly call them one more time, but thought I would just try this forum to see if anyone has an idea of what might be happening. By the way, I have a wireless connection to my printer that has no such loss of connection problem every day. Any thoughts?

Hi tomh803,
Not sure if this will help since I can't tell from your description if the "disconnection" is the Idrive or the wireless adapter, but if it is the wireless adapter then this could help;
Go to Device Manager. Select the Properties of the wireless adapter. Select the Power Management tab. UNCHECK the box next to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power Click OK to save this setting.
