Is there a simple way to stop certain sites from creating 2,3 and4 of the same posts. Some will be 3 in one folder and 1 in another. I tried to delete them and reset but they still are he same. Also sometimes a download will go to my junk file and sometimes the same address goes to the correct folder.

Older, your post is not quite clear as to what is going on. What is being posted to, and what is doing the posting? Is this an email problem or download problem? Anyone who tries to help is going to need an awful lot more information than you've provided so far.

OK lets see if I can do a better job. This is my email OE. When I receive certain emails from companies (not personal) I will receive 3 of the same email. I have different folders and have directed the email go to a certain folder. It will go to that folder but at the same time will show up in a different folder. I have shown that certain emails are ruled to go to certain folders but some end up in the junk folder. Sometimes 3 duplicates of the same email.

This is one for Drmark or drcard. Sounds like you are filtering your email as it comes in. But filters work on the message headers and exact form of the address. Maybe something on some incoming mail is confusing them. But you'll need the resident experts to figure this out and explain it to you.

If an email message happens to satisfy the criteria of two or more filters, OE will happily duplicate that email message as necessary to satisfy all matching filter criteria. The solution is simple: You will need to modify the rule for each email filter as follows. In section 2, Select the Actions for your rule, scroll down to the bottom of the list of actions. The 3rd item from the bottom, Stop processing more rules, should also be checked for every filter rule you have. This will result in only one filter acting on an email. It may then be necessary to move certain filters up or down in your filter list so that the right filter sees and acts on a specific email first. With your "white" email filters properly set up, you should need only one SPAM filter rule, at the very bottom of your filter list, that simply dumps anything that reaches it into a designated spam folder.
