When I start new topic like this I get a real neat composition screen that allows attachments and smileys and all sorts of neat stuff, but when I post a reply none of these things are available. It would be nice to at least include smileys in some of my backtalk ;D
Also, I have a fine avatar I've used for years but can't figure out how your avatar process works. Do I have to create a permanently open spot on my semipublic website so NNT can go fetch it each time? What if I don't have a permanently open connection to the 'net?
How can I get it into my profile so it will be used in my postings?

It would be nice to at least include smileys in some of my backtalk ;D If you click on Reply in the blue bar at the top of the post, the screen will afford you all that neat stuff like smileys. Also, I have a fine avatar I've used for years but can't figure out how your avatar process works. Do I have to create a permanently open spot on my semipublic website so NNT can go fetch it each time? What if I don't have a permanently open connection to the 'net? Avatars and images require that the file be stored on a server. I'm pondering a workaround to this. let me ponder a bit.How can I get it into my profile so it will be used in my postings? click on profile at the top of the menu selections, then modify profile and in the next screen scroll down to the avatar section to enter where your image resides on a server.

I found the easiest way to add an avatar is to simply load your image on a site such as Photobucket (which is free). Photobucket provides a URL for you image which you can then use in your profile.
