Anyone else just get the latest update of Windows 10? It takes forever to update and then announces, afterwards, that it's the April 2018 Update. Good old Microsoft!

Hi - I've stayed current with updates, but the April update was a bear. Just a heads-up, I had to drastically increase virtual memory in order to completely finish the update install and get my laptop back to normal again.

I am now working with Windows 10 Pro. Version 1803. Installation date: 22nd Ma 2018. If that's the April update, I had no problems on my desktop.

Still on good old Win 7 on my daily-use desktop. (heh!heh!)
But I do have Win 10 on my laptop which I haven't opened for quite a while. Perhaps it would be wise to just fire it up, tell it to check for updates, and let it run overnight

Recently purchased from Amazon a refurbished Dell Latitude that came with Windows 10. After two days I realized that Windows 10 was a disaster, so I removed it and installed a new copy of Windows 7. What a great second computer it is now!! David in Wichita
