A minor nuisance, but in my Windows 10 using Chrome I entered an incorrect email address when attempting login to a site. On future logins, the incorrect email address pops up. Of course, I can manually correct it and complete the login, but I'm wondering if there is a way to delete the old incorrect address?

Hi Jack,
Yes, you can edit that information in Chrome. It is called Auto fill.
Open Chrome Click the three vertical dots icon on the right and select Settings from the menu. Scroll the the bottom and click Advanced Scroll down to Passwords and Forms box and click Auto fill settings. Under Addresses you will see your name and address listed. Click the three vertical dots to the right of that address to display all the settings for this auto fill and click Edit. The Edit Address box will open. Scroll down the form and the email address will be at the bottom. Click the email address which will turn the pointer to the I beam to allow you to edit it. Press the Save button to save your changes.
Note: There maybe more than one listing for your name in addresses (some saved for specific web pages). Open each one till you find the one you want to edit the email address of.

Close but no cigar..... The email address under the edit is correct, but in the one instance at a specific web site log on is incorrect. Wondering if there is a way to remove or correct that one instance. My autofill settings appear to be correct.

Hi Jack,
To remove a wrong auto fill entry (called a suggested entry):
Go to that specific web site Start typing to start auto fill supplying entries and stop when the auto fill displays that wrong email address suggestion. Use the down arrow to move to the wrong suggestion if there is more than one suggested entry (or tab to the email address box displayed with the wrong email address) resulting in the wrong auto fill email address is highlighted without you selecting the auto fill to enter into the boxes. You want to move through auto fill suggested entries to the email entry without selecting any entry that would cause auto fill to fill all the boxes. If you use the mouse pointer to move there and click the email, auto fill will take this as you have selected that suggested entry and fill all fields and turn off. You want auto fill to still be presenting suggestions of what to enter into the boxes and move through the suggestions until the wrong email suggestion is highlighted and auto fill is still active. While it is highlighted press Shift+Delete and the entry will be deleted from auto fill's data base.

Guess I must be doing something wrong, but I followed your instructions and Shift+Delete doesn't delete the incorrect entry Tks anyway, no big deal.

Hi Jack,
Sorry for the long delay in responding to you, but I've been extremely busy.
Since the Shift+Delete didn't work, it dawned upon me that the email address is not an auto fill entry. Is this email entry to that specific website part of the log on to that web site? If so, then Chrome will consider that a password; which is saved and handled in a different part of Chrome. This login info (User ID and password) are saved specific to a specific web page. This login saved data can't be edited, but is easy to fix.
Delete the saved login data (see below for how to). Return to that web page. Type in the correct email address and password. When prompted by Chrome to saved the login data...select yes. This will be the login data when you return to that web page.
To delete the saved login data for a specific web page in Chrome:
Open Chrome Click the hamburger icon (3 vertical dots) and select Settings Scroll down the settings and click Advanced Scroll down to the Password and Forms box and select Manage passwords Under Saved Passwords scroll down and locate the website that has the wrong email address To the right of that website listing click the hamburger icon and select Remove. The saved login data and web page will be deleted.
