I recently had to rebuild my Win 7 operating system from an image I made at the first of the year. When I went to update the system with the Windows Updates from the first of the year the only update available was "Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Win 7" that was issued on May 9th. I was wondering if all of the updates that have been issued since the first of the year were in that update or if I have to look elsewhere for the updates from January thru April? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Tom, I'm no expert on MS Updates but there is an excellent write up (post on a forum) by "X64" at this site. www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/631174/ms-monthly-rollup-updates/ The short answer is: Yes, updates from the previous month are included in the current month's rollup updates. You might note particularly, as pointed out in the post, that .net updates are issued separately. For my Windows 7 32-bit OS, there were three .net updates in the past few months: 1) KB3205402 December, 2016 2) KB4014981 April, 2017 3) KB4019112 - May 2017 Laverne
