Hi;
I use Google Chrome as my default browser. Every day or day and a half my Chrome history disappears, without me deleting its. Is there a setting I can change to prevent this?

Hi hugger1: I am not a Chrome user, so know not whereof I speak. It may not just be be a simple setting, as it appears that your Chrome is working as intended. These people seem to know a bit more about your question than I do. Let us know if that helps.

Hi hugger1,
If you select Incognito mode or In-Private browsing or As Guest browsing, then the history will be deleted upon closing all browser windows. Otherwise Chrome will keep the history for 90 days and then it will delete it. If you wish to keep the history longer than 90 days, then you will need to download and install an app that lets save the history in a separate file.

Hi Dana; Chrome is deleting history by itself. That was the issue until I installed a third-party solution. Hi hugger1, If you select Incognito mode or In-Private browsing or As Guest browsing, then the history will be deleted upon closing all browser windows. Otherwise Chrome will keep the history for 90 days and then it will delete it.
