Anyone having issues or know of problems with Waterfox using a huge amount of resources? My system is very slow and I have received 2 pop ups in the last two days telling me to shut down, memory is low. Task manager tells me Waterfox is using 471,900 K. Thanks Thai

Hi Thai:
Well, I set my 4 browsers to my favourite search engine: Startpage. Simple and clean, no ads or popups. Just waiting for my search request. Here are the results, as reported by Process Explorer. I had to add up a bunch of numbers from all Chrome and Opera, two from IE and one from Waterfox. These are from the "Private bytes" column.
Chrome: 298,546 IE 136,845 Opera 248,470 Waterfox 536,952
I don't know if that says anything about the browsers, or just how I have set each one up.
I have not done the most recent upgrade to Waterfox, because it does not allow me to include the Roboform add-on. Rather critical, as it is my password manager.

Thanks Peter for your time and effort to conduct your little experiment. It certainly says a lot, doesn't it? Not sure why I am having these issues all of a sudden but a change in browser would seem to be in order. Thanks again...Thai
