I suspect this is caused by some setting in Facebook, since neither IE nor Firefox will open many of the sites from Facebook. Is there a setting in Facebook that needs to be tweaked to allow this?

Haven't noticed anything. An example?

Seems this is most prevalent at sites that offer "15 ways" to "blah-blah", for example Answers.com . But not all the problems are with that site, and sometimes I can get to it by switching from Firefox to IE or vice versa. I suspect it might be caused by the particular site having temporary server problems, but I just thought there might be a setting in Facebook that needs to be tweaked. I am still plagued with Firefox frequently returning a "not responding" message and am leaning more toward using (Gasp!) Internet Explorer.
