I'm running Windows 7 Pro, Internet Explorer 11. When I open this site, www.shortcourses.com/sensors/sensors1-11.html using IE, I get the message: This website wants to install the following add-on: 'Adobe Flash Player' from Adobe Systems Inc. Since I have the latest version of Adobe Flash already installed and it is "enabled" in IE add-ons, I don't understand why I am getting such a message. Can anyone explain why this message is appearing? Thank you.

I found this solution on the Internet. Open Internet Explorer. Click the Tools gear > Safety > ActiveX Filtering. With ActiveX Filtering checked, the message no longer is displayed. A description of ActiveX Filtering is here if anyone is interested: ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/browser/activexfiltering/about.html
