After updating, which I have never had a problem with before, it would appear that I have lost "Google" in the drop down box to the right of the "URL box".
I would normally type a search in there hit enter and bingo, google takes me to where I want to go! Now I type in there and hit enter and nothing happens...any ideas?
Thanks, Thai

thai. I updated but did not experience any of the problems you mentioned. That said, however, if you scroll to the bottom of the drop down search box you mention you will see "manage search engines." You can click on this and add (or subtract) search engines as you wish.

drmark,
Thanks for moving my post to the proper spot When I click on that little arrow that brings a drop box down all there is, is a 'manage search engines'. When I click on that a pop up box appears that shows nothing...the box is empty...there is nothing in there to add remove or change in any way.

Thai, Toward the bottom of the small window that opens after clicking on "Manage" there should be a box to click for "Restore Defaults." Click and see if that does not repopulate the box with search engines. If you still show no search engines check on the "Get More Search Engines" and add the ones you want.

"Restore Defaults" is ghosted out and so I can not click on it. "Get More Search Engines" appears to be an active link but when I click on it, nothing happens.
Any more ideas for me?

Thai, I would send the question to support. The developer seems very conscientious. He/she can be found at www.waterfoxproject.org/ . The only other alternative would probably be to uninstall and reinstall. Give support a chance and let us know how it goes.

The site is down for maintenance so I shut down Waterfox to do a System restore. This did not complete ( ??) BUT the system did do a 'restart' and when it did, Waterfox is back to normal!!!! Haven't a clue what happened but thanks for the ideas...Thai
