When I try to access the new category, Freeware Finds, I get this message: "Oops, there was an error! You do not have permission to access this board." I tried signing in -- and then I CAN access this category. Is this a bug? Even the "Last Post" column is blank if I am not signed in:  |

No bug. As stated in th two new forums (Freeware Finds and Computer Rants and Raves) these are for registered users only, so you will need to sign in to access them.  |

As you did, I also missed the notification about the two new forums. I picked it up in the email received from Jack: Neat Net Tricks Standard Issue 336, July 4, 2014…
Two new features just added to the Forum, are "Freeware Finds" where our Forum members share their picks of neat free software; and, "Computing Rants and Raves" where members tell what's bugging them about the Internet and their computer.

These Forum additions will also be announced in the next NNT Premium Issue July 14. Look for others as well over the next few months. What we are trying to do is expand the usefulness of the Forum as the NNT issues go into oblivion at year's end. I'm hoping that diehard NNT-ers will continue to stay in touch after the publications cease.

Jack, I'm glad you'll be adding the information in the next NNT Premium issue. To be honest, these days I just glance at the list of software programs in the Standard Issue and then zap it. I pay a good deal more attention to the content of the Premium issues.
