On my windows 7 64bits, I can open 10 pages and then go on MSN and tsk manager only show's an increase of 1%. It would be interesting to find out who's computer runs that much memory using ABP. I also use Ghostery,NoScript, and WOT.If I turn them all off on firefox I gain 1%.

1% of what? 1% of 16G of RAM like I have would be quite a bit of memory use.

marck, I think we are talking apples and oranges. The article and I are talking about use of RAM memory and I believe you re talking about your hard drive. At least I know of know computer with 500GB of RAM memory! Ther problem with Firefox and the extension in question was use of memory not CPU.
