I haven't used my Firefox browser in a few days, so I haven't received any notice about Firefox 29 being available. However, apparently it is, and it's a BIG change from earlier versions. For months, people have been talking about the changes that "Australis" (the name given to FF 29) will make. Some features have been removed, others altered. Some people are bound to like it, while others will not. If you find that you're among those who are not happy, there are add-ons that you can use to undo many of the changes. There's a detailed article about FF 29 and (toward the end) a discussion of Classic Theme Restorer, one of the add-ons you can use. The article, from gHacks, is called " How to turn the new Firefox 29 into the old Firefox."

The only real change I saw other than cosmetics was that they removed the page refresh button and there is now no way to refresh a page.

I haven't moved to FF 29 yet. If I do, I'll probably use the add-on mentioned in the gHacks article. But the whole thing is less pressing, since Pale Moon is my default browser, and it's not about to follow Firefox into the abyss.
BTW, I posted my message about FF 29 after looking carefully at each of the section descriptions. The one for Internet included "browsers," so I figured that's where something about Firefox should go. I don't mind the message being moved, but perhaps the section description should be clarified/changed?
