If you're still using the old Opera 12.x series browser and see no need to upgrade till a proper replacement is introduced then today you have a reason to celebrate. How so? Well, there is a new update which fixes two security issues.
One is related to the recently discovered Heartbleed vulnerability while another stems from auto update.

Thanks, Dr. Mark, for this info. I'm happy to see that Opera recognizes that some of us have no wish to "upgrade" to Cropera (i.e., the Chrome-clone later versions of Opera) and would like to continue to use Opera 12, but safely.
