More than likely they are also residing in your system restore. This is very common. Turn off system restore t clear ll of your restore points, then run SuperAntispyware again. My guess is the malware will be gone.

I haven't actually done this, but in CCleaner, under Tools, you'll find System Restore, and I think you can delete any or all of the restore points it lists. (If you don't know CCleaner, it's a very useful free cleaner of junk that accumulates in the computer.)

Nope CCleaner will only let you delete all but the most recent. To delete all see below: youtu.be/RsgqoMGrnaQ

Nope CCleaner will only let you delete all but the most recent. I was surprised by what you said, Dr. Mark, and so I just tried it. I clicked on one Restore Point and clicked on Remove. CCleaner said "All selected restore points will be removed. Do you want to continue." Note that it said all SELECTED restore points. I said yes, and just the restore point I selected was removed.

You might try CCleaner in Safe Mode. Is one of the six Restore Points which you can't delete the current one?

Marck, In looking at the list of the six restore points, what is the "Description" and the "Type" for each? Is the Description "System Image Restore Point" and the Type "Backup" ?

I believe if you look again, it says that "latest restore point disabled for safety," i.e., the most recent one (latest) will not be deleted.

This has me stumped, they are still there. They are probably not hurting anything but it's annoying to no ends. It all started with finding tube dimmer and search donkey on here then I decided to delete restore to make sure they were gone, but these backup are persistent and wont go away
