Google will be retired on November 1, 2013. The mobile version was retired on July 31, 2012.

It's iGoogle, not the Google search engine, that's being retired on Nov. 1. iGoogle is a personalized homepage that features the Google search box along with other gadgets, lets the user view his latest Gmail message,s read headlines from Google News and other news sources, check weather forecasts, stock quotes, and movie showtimes, and store bookmarks. You can read more about the retirement at support.google.com/websearch/answer/2664197?hl=en&ref_topic=1678516 . They are giving users of iGoogle ample time to move their settings and data elsewhere. But, again, this does NOT affect the Google search we commonly use.

We'll keep an "i" out for you in the future.
