I have odd thing happening on both my windows 7's a PC and a laptop. Sometimes focus is lost on the current window (even if it's the only window) and selecting the window does nothing. I have to click the entry in the task bar to bring focus back. Any Ideas?

Hi steve04,
If by focus you mean current active window, then what that means is that you have a background application that is currently active without displaying a window. When this happens and while it is happening, access the Task Manager and see what application is using the CPU. By finding out what file is using the CPU you can find out what program it is. If this turns difficult to find the program associated with the file OR if the file is a generic Windows service, then you need to scan your systems for a virus or Trojans as this is how they act.
