In various tutorials I have seen images of dos messages (both information and error) that are displayed during bootup as well as images of the BIOS that are on-screen during setup. Can anyone tell me how these images can be saved so that they can be made part of a request for help with a problem? Thank you.

Hi ronbar,
If you want a screenshot of the BIOS setup screens (to save an image of your settings), most BIOS programs have a screen capture setting. Check the instructions for the BIOS and version you have. A common screen capture setting in a lot of BIOS programs is the F12 function key. Usually you can plug in a USB flash drive (drive must be formatted for FAT 16/32) and the capture is stored as a bitmap on the flash drive.

WOT is an acronym for Web Of Trust which is an application that reportedly rates web sites for their cleanliness and safety. You can read more and get it here: www.mywot.com/ .
